Hey everybody, hope you're doing alright lately despite everything! I have been doing okay myself, and I thought it might be nice to share with you some beverage treats I have had these past couple months. These fuel the spirit and also the mind while I dev... shout out to caffeine...
I got this Thai tea from a cute new donut place that opened along the route I walk to the post office. The shop was very cute and their prices were nice, I got a little maple donut with my tea and also got my husband a coconut cream donut that he really liked. The Thai tea itself was good too, not too watery and flavor was definitely better than when I get it canned! I would definitely get this again, maybe even try their Vietnamese coffee next time...
A little fun fact about me... I love seasonal flavors... When I saw Dunkin had a fun new Halloween flavor that was purple AND called potion flavor, I was all over that. The flavor is supposed to be ube and marshmallow, which I was excited about since I love ube but am dissappointed to report it does not taste of ube :( Honestly the marshmallow is more prominent and when drinking it kind of all blends together and just tastes like coffee with milk and sugar, which isn't bad but isn't the potion experience I was promised... it was very purple though, so A+ there.
Another seasonal Dunkins flavor, unlike the potion flavor though I loved this one. It tastes so nice and has cookie crumbs on top... I have no complicated thoughts on this one, I want another soon before they get phased out of season. My friend said it's even better with a shot of butter pecan flavor, so I'll have to give that a try.
Recently a nice little tea house opened up near me, it's like a 15 minute walk from my house. It's like so nice and pretty inside, I'd love to take coord pictures there one day, y'know, when I have a nice coord. My husband and I ate breakfast there, he had a really nice waffle and I had a potato waffle that was okay, I will probably stick to pastries or something next time. The tea was awesome though, we didn't realize ordering a tea gave you a whole pot of it, which was a pleasant suprise. My husband ordered an irish breakfast tea and I had a nice vanilla rose white tea which was super pleasant, I usually love lots of cream and sugar in my tea and coffee but I only put a single sugar cube and that was plenty. Definitely want to come back here.
Now that it is cold again I can get this drink again, it is from a local place I go to at least once a month, it is a lovely chocolate shop that specializes traditional Mayan drinking chocolate. The one I often get is called "Lions Waltz" it is a blend of white chocolate with maple and it's so yummy... this is the first of many this season I'm sure.
Thank you for reading me ramble about the many beverages I drink, too many some might say, not me though! Okay bye!
